Greetings.
I hope you find the sampling of my images presented here engaging. They represent a small protion of my photo collection, which was built over many years.
Sadly, viewing images on a mobile device or small screen
doesn't do them justice in terms of the visual quality and depth that can be
experienced when compared to physical works.
My style is to capture photos that evoke some sort of emotional well being or curiosity. Their creation
begins when I frame the pictures. So what you see in the images is what I envisioned when looking through the lens. Something else to know, all digital images require post capture processing,
which is analogous to analog film processing. However, I do not "photoshop" and, generally, do crop my images. Their quality also is a function of the high resoltuion, full frame, 35mm, format and camera gear (Canon 5D and lenses) that I use.
I have many printed images on display for viewing and can produce images to
virtually any size and mounting style,
although my preference is facemounted, aluminum backed, which provides a clean and contemporary look.
All my images are produced by a commercial production house here in Vancouver that specializes in high-end,
art photography. It prides itself in the skill of its people and the high-quality services it provides. I have been working with them since 2017.
Images are printed on fine art paper using archival-quality ink that produces vibrant and true colours.
